Advanced Echocardiography Course: Enhancing Cardiac Care through State-of-the-Art Imaging Technologies

This comprehensive program is designed to provide clinicians and sonographers with the latest knowledge and skills in 2-D, 3-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiography. The course will cover a range of topics, including diastology, ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, and the application of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) in clinical practice.

Course Objectives

• Use echocardiographic and Doppler methods to assess hemodynamics and cardiac function, including valvular heart disease, heart failure, and cardiomyopathies.
• Describe the utility of newer techniques, such as strain imaging and 3-Dimensional imaging, and their role in modern echo practice.
• Identify the clinical and echocardiographic assessment for common congenital heart diseases.

Target Audience

• Clinical cardiologists and cardiac sonographers with an interest in echocardiography.
• Cardiology trainees, application specialists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and physician echocardiographers.
