Aims & Scope: British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA)

The British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) is a premier international journal that publishes high-impact original work in the fields of anaesthesia, critical care medicine, pain medicine, and perioperative medicine.

The journal covers a broad range of topics, including fundamental, translational, and clinical sciences, as well as clinical practice, technology, education, and training. In addition to original research articles, the BJA also publishes review articles, important case reports, correspondence, and special articles of general interest.

Affiliated with esteemed organizations such as The Royal College of Anaesthetists, The College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, and The Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists, the BJA provides college members with access to the journal and its sister title, BJA Education. Despite this affiliation, both journals maintain their editorial independence.
