Becoming the President of the Korean Association of Orthodontists: A Privilege and a Challenge

I am deeply humbled, honored, and privileged to assume the role of President of the Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO) for the term 2022-2024. Founded in 1959, KAO has been at the forefront of promoting academic excellence in orthodontic treatment in Korea, and its growth is a testament to the collective efforts of its members, past presidents, and the Board and Executive Committee.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my predecessors for their leadership and outstanding contributions to the organization. As I embark on this new journey, I am committed to continuing their important work towards fulfilling KAO’s mission.
