Comprehensive Echocardiography Course: Enhance Your Clinical Practice

This comprehensive course is designed to provide a thorough review of state-of-the-art 2-D, 3-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and transesophageal echocardiography, with a strong emphasis on newer and rapidly changing areas. The topics covered will include diastology, ischemic heart disease, valvular heart disease, application of TEE in clinical practice, cardiomyopathy, and planning, performing, and following interventions.

Course Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Use echocardiographic and Doppler methods to assess hemodynamics and cardiac function, including valvular heart disease, heart failure, and cardiomyopathies.
  • Describe the utility of newer techniques of strain imaging and 3-Dimensional imaging and their role in modern echo practice.
  • Identify the clinical and echocardiographic assessment for common congenital heart diseases.

Intended Audience

This course is designed for clinical cardiologists, cardiac sonographers, cardiology trainees, application specialists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and physician echocardiographers with an interest in echocardiography.
