This practical update reviews a full range of common but controversial issues in women’s health, emphasizing new developments in preventive care for women. The UCSF Controversies in Women’s Health program covers a broad range of topics, including the diagnosis and treatment of common gynecologic and medical disorders of women, to help healthcare professionals better handle day-to-day controversies of office practice, discuss and implement new guidelines for preventive medicine, and diagnose and treat common disorders.
